| They are confused!! So, I have a kitty (Lola) a pet rabbit (Chicco) and a yorkie (Takis). Lola often eats Takis' food and sometimes sits in Chicco's cage. Chicco drinks Lola's AND Taki's water and sits in Lola's litterbox. Takis eats Lola's food and that often causes him to throw up. If they continue like that I'm afraid i'm going to have to sell/give at least one of them. And I can't do it How can I train them?? Lola is 3months old, Takis is 1,5year and Chicco is 2-3 years old.

| They sound too cute!! But I know it must be a nightmare! But it made for an amusing image! First off, maybe try to put Lola's food on higher ground, i.e., a shelf, counter, or table she can jump onto but Taki cannot. Same with her water bowl if it matters. Have you tried the "Clevercat litter box" or the enclosed ones with a door if your cat will use those? For Chicco, have you tried maybe giving her 2 cages to call home? The cat can only be in one of them at a time. Or is the cat much bigger than the bunny? Try to get one with a smaller door. For Taki's food... I'd just say, if you have your dog on premium dry kibbles, it should be okay for the cat to eat also, but I hope she's also eating her own food too. This is if you must "free feed" your dog otherwise, a scheduled supervised feeding time should solve that problem or just separating them into different rooms just during Taki's feeding so he could eat alone undisturbed while you're there with him. If you have tried the above suggestions already then obviously, I wasn't able to be of any help. But you do have a very cute situation going on there, and I certainly hope you wouldn't be feeling the need to rehome any of your little cuties since they seem to get along great. |
