Charlie is sick again. He was doing pretty good till Thursday night by Friday he really had stopped wanting to move, eat or drink

I took him back to Dr. Bing and he had to keep him overnight.

He called me this morning that he found a bacterial infection that is in his blood and intestines. He has put him on an IV with antibiotics and fluid but so far no response. He said he would do 24 more hours and see what happens before I need to make any decisions.

oh Twalla... i am so so so sorry to hear this... keeping Charlie in our thoughts.

Oh no I will keep him in my prayers!! Hopefully the meds are just taking a little longer to kick in!

Thanks all.

Dr. Bing called me this morning. He FINALLY ate and held it down. He is going to stop the fluid but keep him on antibiotics. Charlie is still not responsive with a lot of movement but more alert. Dr. Bing decided to keep him till Tuesday. This is good news that he is eating and drinking and showing signs of alertness. I am sure the movement will come once he gets his strength back!
