| |My sister's boxers I am house and dog sitting my sister's two boxers for her while they are on a cruise and they are so covered in fleas, poor babies! They have been trying to get rid of them, they said, anyone got any suggestions, I really don't want to take this problem home to my babies, their daddy is staying home with them. These dogs are soooo good, they are trained really well, they deserve to be flea free! Taz is a white boxer and I know he had a reaction to Revolution so they can't use that on him, maybe they are scared to use anything like that on him.

| CapStar tablets will kill the fleas that are on the dogs, but the dog's environment especially sleeping quarters will need to be treated as well. Then I would suggest a good spot on - I use Revolution - which is a heart worm med, but it also takes care of round worms, ear mites, fleas and ticks. |

| You, or they will have to bomb the house as well. If you do not get rid of what is in the house the dogs will keep getting fleas. I would also send all of your stuff, ie clothes and everything to be cleaned before you go back into your house. Fleas can travel from person to person on the cuff of your pants. Make sure you do this and your dogs are up to date and you should be fine. |

| My girls and mammaw's girls get Revolution and the cat gets Advantage, so they are covered, and we don't have any fleas at our house, knock on wood. I'm gonna be here until Thursday and see what I can do for them for these fleas. I think tommorrow I will go down to the clinic down the road and see about the Capstar and some Advantix or Frontline. I'm also gonna get some spray for their beds and and furniture and powder for the carpet. Can't bomb the house cuz I have to sleep here until Thursday, so do the dogs. I will suggest it to my sis next time they come to Palestine to visit us with the dogs that they do that though. So hopefully this will help out the poor babies some, I know my sister has just been overwhelmed with everything right now so I will try and help her babies and her out. So maybe she can come home to a semi flea free home. What does the Capstar normally run? Anyone know? I may get a box of it and just two tubes of a spot on for them. I don't have alot of expendable money with me, I use a Care Credit card for my pets stuff. Love that thing! I don't have credit cards, but I had to get it for my dental stuff and then found out some vets took it, and it is soooo handy! Seems like vet visits are such whoppers at one time, specially with the meds!

| I would get the dogs out, set off some bombs, get them a cap star (they can have one a day) from the vet, and then get them on sentinel(it's a pill for heartworm and fleas). They take one a month. Those poor things, breaks my heart to know they have those nasty things all over them. They are a pain to get rid of in the house too. |
