| My old man Simba Well after doing some research on the internet, I have a feeling I know what might be going on with him. But I won't know for sure until I take him to the vet to get his urinalysis and if they do a few other tests. I'm totally freaking out, my moods are up and down, up and down. I am trying my hardest not to get upset and stay calm until I find out for sure whats going on, but it truly is hard. I went to the vet today to get a refill on his ear drops and they weren't going to give it to me, because she said he's on antibiotics so he shouldn't need the drops, I told her no Dr. H, told me to give him the drops too, the other vet checked his file and there it was the prescription. Then they gave it to me. Kind of got me a little mad. Simba is, well I'm worried. He's still not eating much, I can feel his backbone, his ribs, his hipbones..He's so skinny. He's been getting sick, He's not eating much. He'll lick at his wet food, but not really eat it. I've tried different foods to try to get him to eat. He wants to try and eat, but he just can't really do it. He is up and around, but he gets uncomfortable and switches positions often. He's been drooling. I'm just...sigh...sad. I'm calling the vet in the morning to see when they want me to bring him in for the tests. Dr. H wanted to wait until he was done his antibiotics before doing his tests. He finished his antibiotics today, so I'm not sure if it'll be too soon yet. But I am going to get him there. |

| My heart goes out to you, its so hard to have one of our furbabies sick. I know how you feel, we have a sick one too, it just breaks our hearts. Our prayers are with you and your vet to do the next right thing.
