| Our new baby i am not sure where to put this so i hope it is in the right place. i would have posted it a couple days ago but we werent sure he was going to make it. we have had to 'teach' him to nurse and teach momma to let him nurse. so we are very wore out. We had to make a pump to get her flowing. yes my hubby had to milk a mare. then we had to get enough to squirt into the babys mouth so he knows what to look for. then we had to guide him to the right spot to nurse cause he kept trying to latch onto he bag instead of her teet. but mommy and baby are doing better. we still have to go out and tie her to the fence so she cant walk off while he tries to eat but when we do that she is willing to let him nurse. so maybe another day or so we wont have to tie her up and they both will figure it out. We have been calling him Forest Gump. he is SO friendly but OMG SLOW to figure stuff out LOL. forest.JPG So here he is. we are hoping they keep progressing in their learning. and we wont have to go out every couple hours cause that is taking so much time from our other stuff we usually do all day. | SUCCESS!!!! we were able to teach them how to be a mommy and a baby, after going out there every two hours for two days in a row and helping them learn. so now back to taking care of the house and doggies and puppies, it never ends! Tracey |
