| Congrats to you! I just got my little shih tzu boy, Norman a month ago today. I am finding out that shih tzu are amazing little dogs. Much more stubborn than a yorkie (hard to believe, but true lol). Norman teeths on me as well and you are right, it HURTS. I swear he has razor blades for teeth! Would love to see a pic of your little girl!

| Congrats on your new furbaby! My MIL has two Shihtzu girls - they are both soooo laid back it's unbelivable all they want to do is cuddle and give love...they are adorable! I'm not sure how typical this is of the breed though - my friend has a male and he's a little bit nuttier xxx

Thank you. Norman will be 4 months old April 3rd. He is white and brindle right now, but according to the breeder he will lighten up considerably when his adult coat comes in around 10 months or so. Oh, and a heads up for you (in case you didn't know), they are known to form mats VERY easily around that 9 - 10 month mark. The adult coat coming in tangles easily with the puppy coat.
