| What color??? So I have come to the conclusion that choosing your yorkie's color on AKC registration papers is FAR easier than choosing your shih tzu's color. Its so much easier when the breeder marks the color for you. I am thinking Norman is "brindle and white". It seems the closest. I've included some pics of Norman, as well as a shih tzu color reference link. What do ya'll think? American Shih Tzu Club

| I am definitely not an expert, but I would guess Brindle and White also. He looks like he has brown and black mixed in the patches of color, and that is what the brindle and white looks like from the link you provided. If you are unsure, could you call the breeder and ask? He is a cutie! Congrats. |

| I sent her an email with pics and she said "brindle and white - definitely". So, brindle and white it is.

| What about red and white? Brindle and white looks close too. Call the breeder and ask what color he is

| LOL I did. He is officially "brindle and white w/black mask". I never would have thought that figuring out a color was so...complicated. Yorkies are so much easier!

| Awe thanks. I think he's quite handsome myself, but then, I might be a teeny bit biased. Yes, its a color option. You have the "color" option which lists: -black -black & white -blue (I saw a pic of a blue one and they are beautiful!) -blue & white -brindle -brindle & white -gold -gold & white -liver -liver & white -red -red and white -silver -silver and white And then you have the "markings" section: -black markings -black mask I think maltese must be the easiest one out there. They are white. That's pretty much your only option.
