| At what age do cats go in heat? My Daughter brought home a stray kitten back in end of Sept. She was very young when she got her looked almost too young to be away from the mother. Anyway she has never really been outside since and is afraid of outside. The last two nights she has gotten outside I quess when one of us was coming or going. She is meowing more than normal and seems to be very lovable so I am concerned but it seems she would be too young to be in heat or not??

| It's funny because in class this morning we somehow got talking about cats and one girl said her cat got more friendly/affectionate when it was pregnant. I have no idea of that is true or not.

| I've had cats come into heat as young as five months old. |
