I read that they have a 3 month memory span and they do recognize their owners, or whoever feeds them. Moonlight gets really happy and comes to the edge of his 'home' when i approach it. Right now he is hanging at the top of his bowl making more bubbles lol

Your tank is nice and decorated well! It's def. better than mine..poor Moonlight only has a bowl with gravel at the bottom. No plants, toys or statues to look at lol I feel like such a bad fish owner But it was a spontaneous thing when i got him. I was in a petstore and remembered my last Betta that committed suicide when i was chaning his water at the sink. Stupid me didn't cover the drain hole and he jumped out and fell in it So i was just like i want a fish, lets try this again lol So today i am going to get all the proper things i need and somewhere he can hide in, like a little castle, etc. But your pics are nice!
