Oh Lewie you are so cute!!! Now be good and stay in your cage. We had a hamster who freed himself...never to be seen again.

It was my husband's fault.

I think there are two types of teddy bear hamsters...short haired and long haired. One we had looked just like Lewis.

Well, I'm going to take it as a compliment then. I'm touched. I don't have any kids to name after myself, so Lewie the hamster will have to carry on the Lewis legacy.

oh and we had a scare before. When I got home my mom told me to check on him cause he wouldn't wake up for her. I went and I was calling him and petting him and he wouldn't move. I moved the bedding, and he was like spazzing out. I was SO freaked out and I thought he was dead/dying. I was really depressed. Then I poked him with a blush brush and he woke up...really pissed off haha. He's a heavy sleeper.

Good, cause it was meant to be a compliment. It would be pretty sick of me to name him Lewis to make fun of you.

Thanks. It reminded me of when my favorite niece had her first child and named him with my first and middle name. I was CERTAIN it was after me, so I made a big deal about it. She finally told me that no, the baby was named after the father's dad and it was just a coincidence.
