| Duck, Duck, Goose Thought I would share some pictures of the ducks that live at the pond behind our house. They did not migrate this year, so we have been feeding them.. The Goose was raised by my sister. It stayed all winter too. |

| That is neat! It looks like there is so many of them. Do you think they'll stay there permanently now? I guess there is no way to tell..

That reminds me of a couple of years ago I was driving and I ran over a duck! I stopped and it's beak was kind of bleeding and kind of cracked so I took it home and kept her in our shed until the beak healed! Then I let her free and she just stayed around her house! Eventually my mom got tired of her pooping on our patio and getting in the pool so they took her to a friend's pond (where there are tons of other domestic geese and ducks). She still lives there! (I know this was probably ILLEGAL for me to do- since she was probably a wild duck but that's OK! )

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I love those pictures. We get that up here, too, and I always feel sorry for the poor dumb things. You'd think a warmer climate would make the migration worth it, but as long as they have open water, many of them stay. Kinda sad. But great pictures!

| Those pictures were really neat to look at. Thanks for sharing. You are lucky to live where you have scenery like that in your own back yard. It looks like a beautiful area.
