| vet teeth cleaning questions I have a 2 year old cat named Fonzie, any one ever heard of a ragamuffin? He is the most wonderfull cat there is. I need to have his teeth cleaned and when I thought to ask who would be doing the procedure (putting him to sleep and the actual teeth cleaning) I just assumed the doctor would, but no the techs do the actual work around here, but they say the doctor is always right there in case he or she is needed. I am wondering if when you all had your guys teeth cleaned if your docs did it or the techs. is this normal protocol? Tammy |

| Hmmm, Ellie had actually oral surgery so the doctor did it. I'm sure the techs put her under and when she was spayed the tech cleaned her teeth. I would think the vet is in the same surgery suite though (not in another room seeing patients). I never really asked Ellie's vet who puts them under.

| I guess it should be very safe otherwise surely the techs wouldn't be the ones to do it. Anyone else know wether the vet or tech did their cleanings? |

| A vet did my cats teeth, that's because he didn't put him under though. |
