| How to switch cat from one food to another? My kitten (about 7 months now, I believe) was eating Purina Kitten Chow when we got her- so that's what we continued to feed her. Today I bought some Felidae to switch her onto. I have a little bit of Purina left. How do I switch her from her old food to the new?

ETA: For some reason I can't get the pictures to upload. I think maybe the server is being weird or something- I've never had a problem before.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have 2 cats too and honestly I don't mix it I just switch them and they do fine I've never had issues switching dog foods or cat foods. Your kitty should be fine |

| Here they are! Don't mind the floor in the second picture. I clean, I swear! My parrotlet cage is there during the day and I had put her to bed and hadn't cleaned the floor for the day.

| Haha, really?? I love her coloring. Her stripes have intensified as she has aged. When we first went to visit her at the foster they weren't even visible.

| she's so pretty! there's always so many calicos at the shelter, i have no idea why. it might be because they choose one person over everyone else, and i think its strange that a color can determine this.

| Really? Calicos are my favorite. I'd love a long-haired one.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | she's very cute! ANd i noticed the extra toes, she's a polydactyl kitty. as for her food, if she's not one to be sensitive to food and vomit a lot (like my cat) then just switch her. However if you think she's gonna get an upset tummy you can gradually switch her over a few days

| i love calicos, too they're so unique, i've never seen too that look alike. i think it might just be like with female yorkies too. they tend to choose one person, while the boys love everyone. i'm sure there's exceptions, but that happens with lots of calicos. it's strange
