I've had tiny robins and wrens come into the house in the past, poor little things were frantic trying to escape outside.

They did, I couldn't believe it! They were fluttering at the windows...so I opened the front door again and left the room for a while and when I came back, they were gone. I admit, part of me wanted to keep them forever ...really badly! They're so CUTE.

I'm not surprised you wanted to keep them - they are really cute! I saw one when I was a little girl and I thought he/she was so pretty. I also love the cute little robins with their puffed out red chests and sparkling eyes, I think they're just adorable and would love to have one around all the time Some are so tame and hop up right by my feet and tilt their heads back and forth to look at me when I speak to them, kinda similar to the yorkie head tilt LOL

I'm now kinda regretting setting them free so fast . I should've set up a little feeder for a bit and relished watching them up close!

Me too. I have fountain in our courtyard and they'll hover and drink from it, it's really cute.

Oh I love the little hummers. Several years ago we had an overload of them. I hardly got anything done that week. They were such brave little ones - I could go and stand on the back porch with them whizzing all around. They were so excited about the feeders that they would land on the feeder and eat while I was trying to hang them up after refilling them.
