We do have a 4 x 4 truck so we can get around if we have to go out...we just don't like to! I'm staying in tonight...I'm making chocolate chip cookies and doing laundry. I got caught in the last ice storm...no power for 7 days and I didn't do my laundry before hand...I won't get caught again!

Wow this is getting to be a much busier thread than I would have every guessed! I've been away all day and had to read sooooooooooo many posts just to get here!

WOW, 7 days without power! That must REALLY suck!

A 4x4 is handy, I wish I had one when the weather is bad.

I was trying to keep it alive in here when there was no one posting cuz you was all working! lol... I was dying to people to talk to other than Dobiedude but no one came till now and I was going to go to bed!

Yah...we did end up with a generator towards the end but I couldn't use my dryer because it's 220 and you can't run that off of a generator. I had some things in the house but I had to be careful and the furnace wasn't running at full speed so it wasn't as warm as it should have been...I was grateful for the heat we did have though!

Cookies are done...perfect!

I don't think I'd know how to wash clothes by hand!!! LOL. I guess that's one of the good things about the UK, weathers never great but nothing compared to the storms you get over there!

I read every post.............takes forevery but I want to find out what's going on in here! He better beware. Obviously he couldn't handle with dignity one of us so he better not come around when we are all on here. He'll never get a word in!

And then we had to take pictures and resize them and post them and now here we are and I'm very tired!
