I'm looking for an inexpensive puppy for my daughter. There are so many little guys out there at the rescues. It's so sad!

Aw, I read your post about Jerome. Poor little guy. I'm sending up prayers for him. It's so hard when they're sick. You just want to kiss them and like magic it's all gone.

Do you know anything about the shiz zu dog?

I wish you'd live closer so I could get you that puppy. I can't believe they can't keep him. just because he's been chewing on the furniture, but of course nobody is there in the daytime training him, maybe is better for the pup.

She can't afford much. They're newly weds with expenses and college to pay off. Probably just a couple hundred dollars. Maybe $300. That's why I was looking at rescues. I know she can't get a purbred from here. It's just not in their budget now.

They asked me yesterday morning if I knew someone wanting a dog. I said no,because they wanted to take him to the SPCA, but I told them to take him to another organization called second chance pets where the dogs get foster parents. I got Chikis from second chance pets and Kiki the cat too.

So is she looking for a particular breed or a mix and what age range? I know you had said young, but is that like a year or younger? and what sex? boy or girl?

Hmmm. My daughter is in Austin. How far is that from Houston? She said she didn't want to drive a long way to see a dog and then not like it and have to drive all the way home again. Maybe she could get pics or talk to someone.
