Here is a couple of pictures of Kallie and Toby. Kallie's hair is 12 inches long and Toby's is 10 inches long (shoulder to tip of hair).

Do a lot of people grow Maltease's hair long? They aren't a common breed over here so you hardly see them, people seem to have Westie's.

No, only show dogs are usually kept long........there are a few pet owners that keep them long like me but most keep them in a puppy cut. We got a maltese because we liked the look of the long flowing hair so a puppy cut for Kallie was not an option...........we love to see her run and the hair flips and flows........lovely lovely picture to see that!!! And same with the Yorkie, we liked the long look too so we keep them both that way and probably will never trim until it drags on the floor. lol

Well, I have to go and do their daily brush and I am running out of time before hubby comes home. Nice to "discuss" these various topics!!! LOL See ya later ......... maybe!!!

Yes, he sat for two seconds and I was able to nab the picture before he tore into the bed pillow and looked like he had a bad night out on the town. He hates looking handsome!!! He likes the bad hair day look!!! Suits him better. lol
