Well, just giving a quick hello to all my fellow "thread Killer" mates! Hope all is well with everyone ..............we need to post at time to meet up and talk like we use to! We are all missing in action at times! I miss everyone!!!:( :( :( |

Lori, When my son and I drove to VA to get Kaya, every station we turned on the radio, the song, Who Says You Can't Go Home by Bon Jovi was playing. I had never heard it before but by the time the trip ended, I liked it! It got to be a joke between us and kept us laughing. :D Hope you are doing ok today. Hey there! How ARE you??? Do you miss ME the most? :D My son is back from Florida and has graduated. He said the sun is WAY hotter in Florida than it is here. He had three different STRONG sunscreens on and still got a nasty sunburn. He said your trees are weird looking and he couldn't stand it cause there weren't any pine trees! I had no idea he was so attached to pines!:cool: He had a great time at the theme parks and the beach. He brought home some sand and some ocean water. He says he's not in any hurry to fly again after his experiences flying there and back! Poor, poor child. :cool: |

Yea, the sun is hot and you really need to use sunscreen. I seldom use sunscreen but do not stay out in the sun that much and not during the hottest part of the day!!!! But I also don't burn easily. My daughter and grandson get sun poisoning when they are in the sun too long even with sunscreen and they have lived in Florida all their lives so it all depends on your skin type. I hope he wasn't burned too badly. Did he have a bad flight that he isn't so eager to fly again?? AND YES I MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! |

On his flight down, they had pretty bad turbulence (sp) for most of the flight. He was just a bit scared! On his flight home, they had to land about 3 hours south of us cause there were storms around here. They had to sit on the plane for over two hours and then they had to fly all around MN and go over part of WI to go around the storm to get home. I just had to laugh cause this was his first time flying. :D I know, not very compassionate, eh? Look at it this way, now he has stories to tell about his first flight! |

Your poor son, that would not be a good first experience on flying! I would probably never get back on a plane after that! They would have had to carry me off in a stretcher if I had to sit in the plane "waiting" for that long! |

Hey, I'm back - did ya miss me?! I finally got my internet connection working. Why does it always take days to get those silly things up and running? I'm pretty computer savy and there were still problems. :thumbdown So, Lori is off on a road trip huh? I talked to her a couple of times. She sounds well and was doing fine last night. Morkie4 and Omega - you two just never stop do you!:p G&M, how's the duck? We haven't heard from My2boyz for awhile. How is Gingergirlsmom? Did you see my post in Sick and Injured about Tink? Go read it - my poor little baby girl! |

More expensive but that's to be expected. 'Course now that Tink has to have surgery we'll be living on crickets and rainwater!:D Her surgery is going to cost $2,000!:eek: And just after the wedding! I think I'll hire out my services - not sure what those are, but I'm hiring them out! |
