Hi thread! I came home from church, ate some lunch, cleaned up the mess from the grandgirls this weekend, played with Tinkerbelle, got sick, took a nap, woke up, ordered some body fashion tape from QVC, checked my eBay bid on some pearl earrings, read all today's posts on here and some elsewhere, and now I'm ready to go sew. All the hard stuff is done; just the tedious hand work left now. It wouldn't have taken so long had the girls not been so diet crazy and I had to alter all but one of the dresses I made. I am not happy with my oldest grandaughter. I didn't say anything to her but she knows. She's 13 going on 30. She went on a diet and lost 20 pounds and she looks like a stick! She bought 3 in heels to wear with her dress and since she's already 5'10" she looks like a spaghetti noodle. There is barely enough fabric at the hem with those heels to make a handkerchief hem. I had to take the top in 3 inches and I just removed the front panel in the skirt instead of taking it in evenly around. I can't believe her mother let her diet like that. I am really upset with her. She was thin to begin with and now she doesn't look good at all.OK enough complaining. OK well maybe not - one more thing. Move to next post please.......

Continued from previous post... I had to call one of the bridesmaids yesterday and tell her she is off the court. 3 weeks til the wedding and she still has not found a seamstress to make her dress. because the girl's mothers said they were able to do it or would have a seamstress do it. Didn't happen!! I made my granddaugher's because I can and I'm picky and I wanted to save them the money since they just bought a horse for the oldest. One girl is a missionary home on furlough and has no money and I love her like my own. Another is a poor college student from a family with no extra, so I offered to do that one too. Well then it became 6 due to other reasons, and then 7 and now I can't do the eighth. I'm gonna get some cortisone shots in my knees and hip so I can get through the wedding. The headaches are going to be taken care of after the wedding I hope, and I still have to pack up my apartment and move by the end of May. ![]() Wow, do you think I should be done venting now? Continue to next post please...

Continued from previous post... So, I'm going to shut up now and go have a good cry and then get back to sewing. I think I should take Morkie4's advice and get some wine to go with my whine. Whatcha think? I think I should keep my mouth shut and never volunteer to do so much stuff. Deb kicked me out of the group until after the wedding! (it's good, cause I have no time) (I kicked myself off my volunteer things until after the wedding too.)![]() OK thread. I'm done now. I'm gonna go order Tink some T-shirts - I never did get that done last week. Poor little darling is almost naked. She's growing out of everything she owns. She's such a little darling Tinkerbratt! Thanks for listening to me hollar and scream and vent. You're a good little thread.

| Hi Tink's mom! Sounds like your havin' a ruff day! Shopping for Tink should help. Shopping always makes me feel better Here's a bit of something for ya'.http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:...ges/wine17.jpg Thought I'd drop in and say "hi!" I've been a bit of a thread-killer myself today, and knew I absolutely, positively, could not kill this thread.

Lori, I forgot to mention after surgery... it hurts like heck to wear a bra. The strap goes right on the incision.... Well, unless you wear a strapless.... My incision still hurts when I get dressed using "that" item of clothing.... That's another reason I didn't go out for awhile... they wouldn't let me out with a b** on.
