I drank my milkshake earlier!!! I have a million in one projects going on right now..lol I am washing clothes Cooking Dinner Checking in on YT Cleaning out my dresser Sewing Aubreys Vest.. What else can I do??lol. I am going to dust my room. |
Congratulations on figuring out the slipstitch Mandee!:D The more you do it, the better you will get at it. I can do it now without even thinking about it and most of the time I'm not looking either. It's all in the feel of the fabric. The smaller the area to hand sew, the easier to get an even blind stitch. You only need an area large enough to put your hand in to stuff the fabric. Tink is still sick.:( I was up most of the night with her. Poor little baby. I'm calling the vet in the morning. |
Hello everybody!! It's a cold one here today. Snow and all... |
I hope Tink gets to feeling better:) Aubrey and Dakota Are sending kisses!!! Yah! I did Aubreys vest. It was a little too tight, but that was the only problem!! I have almost mastered it.lol. |
Hey Alyssa, I wish we could have some snow!! |

Go check these two threads out: Heres what I have been doing this evening: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99159 AND http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99160 |
Can't wait to see a picture. We see snow here about maybe two times a year, if that. |
1 Attachment(s) Ok, this is what I do with all my vest, dress's, blankets and I'm sure it could be done with pillows too. Once you turn the item inside out I tuck in the open part and sew the edge all over again on the right side, so it closes that little opening and re-enforces the whole item. If I'm way off, sorry just caught the end of the conversation :p Not sure if you can see the stich here. |

I use two pieces of fabric, I don't put anything in between them. Then with Dakotas hers in done in two seperate sections. I do the top part, then I do that bottom then sew them both togethor. |

I saw it too but I think it was too small for Dakota. Mizzwand(?SP) has a pic of one of her babies in her avatar. |
