Sounds like fun!! We have two more left to carve.. who knows when we will do that.lol. I am about to go get a milk shake I am craving one soo bad. are you sewing it on all 4 sides? or just 3 sides and leaving one open? |

You cant. And 5 months is def not old.. if thats old to her, then how old will a year be? Ancient??? |

a milkshake sounds reaaaaaally good |
Heres what I do, I sew all 3 sides and the half of the 4th open. Before I turn it inside out to hand sew that last part, I cut a diagonal line across all 4 corners so that way it will look good in the corners, get what I am saying? The corners will poke out like they are suppose to. |

but i can't seem to hand sew the opening. what am i doing wrong?????????????? better question...what am I supposed to be doing???? LOL i think with my future ones, i will leave the corners open, turn them to fill the pillow, then sew ribbons on the corners so that i don't have to hand sew any openings and i can put pretty ribbons on the pillows. sounds easier to me :) |
You mean hand sew the last part of the pillow?? Or the very beginning? |

Ok. I gather my sides they way I want to sew it and pin it, just so it will stay still. I thread my needle then since you tie a knot and the end of the needle so the thread doesn't come off I put that through on the inside do you don't see that part, then I just got over and back under and I do it a couple times just to make sure it doesn't come apart. |

Just on the outside of what ever you are making. but once I get toward the end I cut my thread and tie it in knots about 4 times, and the knots are small you cant see them. Then cut it all the way down. I usually sew it on the machine about 3 quarters of the way |

i did it. i'm not 100% happy with it but the stitching is invisible for the most part :) i am sure i will get better at it as time goes. i will take a picture in a few minutes for you :) it's nothing fancy, just a big square :) |
Ok, I am sure you did a good job on it!!! Were you making this for someone, or are you going to start selling these? |
