I would Like a bigger house but what I really want is one of the huge Garbage things they bring ove and put in your drive and then I'll fill it up..

yeah, she's just crazy. she's had the dog ONE day. it will take time for her other one to get used to having another dog in the house...much less another male

oh? yeah..she seems awful fishy to me. how could anyone get a 5 month old pup and expect it to be perfectly trained. and to think that 5 months is old?? i just dont get it. def. fishy.

I am back!!! Had fun out to lunch! I am sorda hungry again.lol

I leanred how to sew a D ring:)!! YAh!! And I also made the pattern for Aubreys size so once my sister gets up from her nap, I am going to make Aubrey a vest!!

very cool!!! i am fighting right now with trying to finish this pillow i made for someone. i can't seem to close up the opening :( i have been looking online but no luck :(

my b-i-l is on his way over. we just went and got pumpkins and are going to paint and carve pumpkins :)

are you sewing it on all 4 sides? or just 3 sides and leaving one open?

i am sewing it on all 4 sides but leaving an opening on the 4th side that needs to be hand sewn. i can't make it look good. i've sewn it about 7 times and keep ripping it out because it looks horrible :(

a milkshake sounds reaaaaaally good

Heres what I do, I sew all 3 sides and the half of the 4th open.

Before I turn it inside out to hand sew that last part, I cut a diagonal line across all 4 corners so that way it will look good in the corners, get what I am saying? The corners will poke out like they are suppose to.

i think I know what you are saying.

but i can't seem to hand sew the opening. what am i doing wrong?????????????? better question...what am I supposed to be doing???? LOL i think with my future ones, i will leave the corners open, turn them to fill the pillow, then sew ribbons on the corners so that i don't have to hand sew any openings and i can put pretty ribbons on the pillows. sounds easier to me :)

the very last part. the opening that you leave so you can stuff the pillow. all the directions i see online just say "hand sew the opening" but it doesn't tell you how :(

Ok. I gather my sides they way I want to sew it and pin it, just so it will stay still. I thread my needle then since you tie a knot and the end of the needle so the thread doesn't come off I put that through on the inside do you don't see that part, then I just got over and back under and I do it a couple times just to make sure it doesn't come apart.

Just on the outside of what ever you are making. but once I get toward the end I cut my thread and tie it in knots about 4 times, and the knots are small you cant see them. Then cut it all the way down.

I usually sew it on the machine about 3 quarters of the way

well, i finished it. this is what i found online about how to close up the pillow slip stitch

i did it. i'm not 100% happy with it but the stitching is invisible for the most part :) i am sure i will get better at it as time goes. i will take a picture in a few minutes for you :) it's nothing fancy, just a big square :)

this particular one is for someone but i am going to start selling them once i get comfortable with making them :) plus, i want to make them a little fancier than this one is.
