Well, the three I take are necessary meds! One is a nasal spray to keep my bones healthy and from getting osteoporosis, the other is for hypothyroidism and the other is for my Restless Leg Syndrome............so those I don't mind taking at all. But the Skelaxin and the Ultracet are ones I use sparingly as I don't want to get hooked on them.

Good morning thread and any-everyone!

Tink and Sasha (Peekinese) had their play date yesterday. It was really a play date for Tink and Sparky (the Chihuahua) and Mom (a HUGE black lab) and Son (Mom's son, another HUGE black lab). Sasha was so scared she hid the whole evening.

After inside dog intros, we went outside to meet the Labs and Sparky. (Sasha went to her crate). Tink played to hard she wore out the chihuahua and even the mom lab (5 yrs old) went in her pen. Tink was made out of bed springs I swear! She wouldn't stop running. Run run run run run run pant pant run run run jump jump run run run run pant pant run run run run jump jump run run run run run! Carol and her husband couldn't believe that she never stopped to rest for a second. I didn't get pics but Carol tried to take some so if she sends them to me, I'll post some.

Carol's house is huge and has wood laminate flooring. Tink thought she'd found heaven. My apartment is so small and carpeted. She ran and slid across the floor the whole time we were in the house. She was just crazy!!! Carol's husband strongly suggested I take her to a dog park for a run at least once a week.;) I didn't know that they breed black labs, so he had some good info for me.

Well, guests are coming this afternoon a for dress fitting and I need to dust and vacuum and run to the store for bully stix. Maybe I can post some late tonight - we'll see.

Uh hmmmm. Why are you talking about me behind my computer screen?? My meds are costing me at least $90.00 a month right now. That is ridiculous! Do you know how much stuff for my dogs I could buy with that????? :D Really, don't you wonder what the meds are doing to our bodies even if they are helping in some way? Sometimes that scares me.....:(

Yes mam, I see your order about not being sick. I can't shake this stomach thing. I'm not throwing up anymore but my stomach is making noises like a roomful of Yorkies being ignored! It just aches and aches. I can eat and keep it down but the pain won't go away. I guess it must be the same thing my son had. :thumbdown

As for the good weather - tell me when please? I'm SO tired of the wet, dreary days... they seem to last forever and sometimes two of the three think they don't have to potty outside. :mad: So, they come back in and go into their crates and we try again a while later.... when will they ever learn? (gee, there's a song like that:rolleyes: ) I'm sick of taking harnesses off and on all day long forever and ever. Amen. Done complaining. :D

Oh, a small miracle happened today - My son actually started cleaning his room!!!!!!!!! :eek: I won't even go into what it looked like. I think a Haz. Mat. team needs to be here to help him. I think he's doing it to get ready to move out or else he's sucking up hoping he doesn't have to leave when he graduates like we told him he has to.... :rolleyes:

Omega, I don't like filling my body full of drugs but when you need them.......you just need them! I try to use the drugs the Dr. gave me as needed only when I really really need them. But the other three are ones that I have to take or I'd have problems. I just got my bill of $182 which is three months supply for both me and my hubby's meds so I'm not going to complain..........insurance picks up the biggest part of it!! Whewww!

Hello all WELL I came home from work early I am in so much pain that I was crying at work. I felt like poop leaveing them all there to do all the work. I took some strong meds a few min ago so if they kick in I may just drop off. If so sorry.
Oh BTW went to Petsmart yesterday GRAND opening:) and I got Daisy Nails trimed. She hated it LOL but she always does.... Anyway they tried to recrute me to work there LOL. They love the cut I did on the kodi Man LOL.
I just may think about it after I recover from Surgery :)

Well, I read posts, made some tuna cassarole because I haven't had any in years and had a taste for it - it was good!, took a nap, and now I have to go into work for awhile to upload some documents into a nasty home-grown software program. Ho Hum. Not my idea of fun on a Sunday evening. Wish I could take Tink with me.
