| Stuart is so sick. I have to get him in to the vet today. I hope she can help him. He's old and was so neglected. Sad day...

| Sorry, I forgot to update the post! Stuart is not doing well. I'm doing my best to keep him comfortable and as alert as I can. The vet said all we can do is give him comfort meds - what we've been doing since I got him but she's increased the dose on the prednisone and the Carbamax. She said it's hard to tell how much longer he has but she thinks several months yet. So that's good at least. Everymorning when I wake up I listen to hear him breathing. Sometimes I can't hear him so I have to put my hand on his chest. He sleeps most of the time now but he will walk around the yard to go potty. It's sad.

| Sorry to hear about Stuart. I know how hard it is to watch them failing and there is really nothing you can do, but love them and keep them comfy. Please give him a little hug and kiss from me and Winston...Know that he knows and appreciates all you've done for him...may you be blessed!

| Thanks Kathy and Betty. I'm glad to have had him for just over a year now. I really wanted him to leave the world knowing that someone loved him and took good care of him. The Lord has answered that prayer. He may be a crabby old man but he's so appreciative of anything I do for him. Bless his little heart. Tink even likes him now!

| Stuart went over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. I'm so sad but I know he's resting now pain free. Tink is so confused. She keeps looking for him and calling for him. She's mad at me and won't let me hold her or pet her. She knew this morning that he was dying when I took him to the vet. She kept smelling his head and pawing at his legs. So glad he's not suffering anymore.

| Thanks Betty. Tink is starting to come out of her depression. She still walks around smelling everything looking for him but at least tonight she ate something and came and layed beside me. I'm going to look for a memory stone to put in my back yard for Stuart since I couldn't dig a little place for him to rest. Our ground is all rock and I'm not well enough to try to dig through it. But I want something for him. Betty, how are you doing?
