| Forever.. I get ssi I finally got it in 2004. took forever to be approved. I was born with spina bifida scoliosis ive had 5 back surgeries.. and now i have 3 heart problems. i cant sit or stand for long hours. i cant lift heavy things. i tried applying for jobs. but they dont want to hire someone who is a liability. and when i got on disability they only allow you so many hours. so i get by the best i can. |

| I've had massage therapy and it just bothered me more.. I have a knot that has came up in my lower back. so thats where alot of my pain comes from. I had my first surgery at 16. a doctor did surgery put rods in my top back and then later they went back in and put rods in my lower back. and then 2 more times had to take some out. so that equaled 5. I'm on the same medicine i was on after surgery so it's not helping me much anymore.. theres hardly any medicine that helps. and some of it knocks me out and keeps me loopy so i wont take them. i soak in hot baths and use pain patches and do the best i can! |
