My sister has been in pain with her tooth for a few months and doesn't have any insurance so NO dentist will help her. She went to a low cost clinic and they told her it was infected and she needed a root canal done and that would cost her almost a grand. Obviously she can't afford that. They gave her some Ibuprofin and some antibiotics and sent her home.  I feel so bad for her. I can't believe no one will help her with an infected tooth. | |

They told her they wouldn't pull it cause it is an upper tooth and they thought she might get her sinuses infected. What do they think is going to happen with just leaving it?????? She is so frustrated. | |

Thanks for asking. I'm having to have a couple of tests done which were postponed and it's a little nerve wracking to wait to have them done.
