oh yea- I am getting good at killing them- their strike range isn't very much so I can get right up on them- Last night it was a big plummer's wrench that did the job! Just hit em till he quite wiggling

I put him in a plastic bag and then bleached the porch- I wonder if the venom could stay on the concrete? Well the girls went nuts still this morning sniffing where he or she died.

well I have to be cause I don't want those things around my house where I can see them!! unfortunately they love my pool area and back porch- warm concrete!! Luckily they are usually gone by the end of June- I don't where they go but they go

ok- Kim has been complaining since she got out of bed at 5:45am- I let her out- she has sniffed the snake sacrifice zone for over an hour and is barking and what I call complaining- going from window to window and making a hump sound- like who is in my yard!!!!!!!!!! She seriously won't stop. Then Charlee has to chime in - QUIET

Did ya get any good pictures, ya sicko...LOL. I once killed a cottonmouth in my back porch with a plumber's wrench too. They are handy tools to have...better than hammers even

Actually I used a plumber's wrench because the hoe was in the backyard shed and I wasn't going into the BACKYARD cause maybe the snake in the porch had parents or siblings...front garage contains the plumbing supplies....and the plumber's wrench was the biggest thing in there.

Tried to get a good picture of Ramsey's new do....I am sorry she is much too busy for photo sessions. How 'bout half a puppy? Took a ton of those...1/2 her face, a body with no head, her butt.

Spent last night

ing my home computer. No, no one there ever downloads nothing, no momma, not me....I don't know why the computer doesn't work....

Probably plenty of snake lovers out there,, and they are animals or reptiles or something too.. I have felt the wrath...

Speaking of wrath,.. guy who can't say things right... The WALL with all the names on it traveling around the US, is HERE now.. he said he went to see it last night and somehow he said they had a "REEF" not to be confused with a WREATH....

I said " Like a Coral Reef? He said " No, a reef with flags on it" "OHHHHH," I said!

Well if vemous snakes would stay down BY the water, then I believe in live and let live. If you venture up to the house, I'm getting the wrench.

We have raccoons too. I don't kill those, but prefer they stay BY the water too. They carry rabies. My brother catches them in have a heart traps and relocates them.

He has never gotten rid of all of them. Relocate one, another moves in. They make loads of noise at night....drives Ramsey nuts when she's inside. THEY'RE IN MY YARD! THEY'RE IN MY YARD!!

Last summer across the water was a raccoon nest. Momma had 5 babies...we watched them play up and down a branch of a tree for weeks. They even wrestled each other on that branch...you just kept expecting one of them to fall out...nope.

One time I bought cat food in a 5 lb bucket with a screw on lid...go out in the garage, lid off, cat food everywhere, sweep it up, thinking dumb cats. Next day same thing....now I think I didn't get the lid on tight enough so I spin it down and STAND on it. Following night...sitting in the den, hear noise in the garage, open the door, flip on the light....there is Mr. Raccoon sitting on his butt, spinning the lid off with his front two paws.

They are way smart when it comes to getting food. Our trash cans are 5 foot tall w/ flip up lids...don't ask me how those raccoons can climb on top of it AND get the lid up, but they can.

Sounds like Mr. Raccoon needs to feed his family. I bet it's fun watching the babies grwo up, but they sure can be a pain when they are older.
We have a wild cat who is always in our trash. We have the flip lids too, but he gets in there. I fixed that problem, now I put cat food down the hill, no more trash for him, he likes real cat food.
