Hi all! I just rolled out of bed for the third time! I told my son last night if it was raining really hard to wake me up and I would drive him to the bus stop. (Hubby gets him up before going to work) So, he woke me at 6:50 and I took him to the bus. Came home at 7 am, and crawled back in to bed. Alarm goes off at 7 to wake up Megan. She is beside herself with excitment. Today they announce the winners of the science fair (she's a finalist) and then we are going into the city tonight. anyway, took her to school, came home and the bed was just too inviting. Tucker and I went back for a nap! I'm off today and being soooo lazy. It's a perfect day for it. |
Howdy all. :) Teri, I'm sorry about Kevin. We dealt with bullying a few years ago....it was awful. I will tell you though....our schools has a bully policy....in fact, they make you, as parents, sign this code of conduct thing or your kid doesn't get to go to school. At ours...no matter who throws the first punch, both are in trouble...which personally I don't agree with. If someone throws a punch at another kid, I feel the first should be able to defend themselves. Any way.....on the bullying....go into the school and raise hell. It's their policy...enforce it. And if they won't....get a lawyer, no kidding. Actually our middle school is being sued for this very issue. Ramsey went to the whack-o cookout with us. She met...hmmm, I guess he would be a cousin...Riley. Riley's parents really need to visit here and start the thread....is my yorkie a yorkie...'cause I have my susspisions. Mother's day was good....I got md's cards....from hubby, my kid, the cats, and Ramsey. Think Hallmark stock went up w/ that purchase. Got some suncatcher thingys for my flowerbeds, plus a frogie rain catcher. Cute...like them alot. Also received a pm from AY.....hmmmm, trying to bait me, but I ain't falling for it. I am not an enabler. ;) He did, however, alude to my merry band of mis-fits.......you guys may wanna pm and ask him 'bout that comment. |
Good morning ladies. I'm playing catch up here since I was out of the office on Friday with graduation and then clean up from the party on Sat. and then mother's day yesterday. Hey Gina, it's sunny and 85 here which is a heat wave for WA!! Yesterday it was 75 and I am sunburned on my face, nose, and shoulders really bad. Wearing a tank top today. Graduation was good and I am so glad for it to be over. I really do feel this weekend was all about me, but hey, that's ok too! Have to go in for chemo this afternoon since I skipped on Friday. Hopefully I get my cath soon so I don't have to go anymore. Glad to hear the rest of you had a great Mother's Day or a lazy one at that. I'll be sure to send sun to those who have rain. |

I suspect his co-workers are so glad he's off the program....that they are paying for his internet access. ;) No more..."hey, look at my dog's butt pictures...it's cute." The men were probably amused at the Sophia porn ones though. |
OK, Not only am I REALLY worried, but I'm mad too!!!!!! Every month I go to the Pharmacy to pick up the kids meds. OK got them, I was sick so I just put them up, they didn't need the refills until yesterday. So last night I go get them out, and look at one of the prescriptions, hmmmm this looks odd, so I look at the name, nope, not my daughter. Call and talk to the person in charge. She said oh do you think you can bring it back here. Well yea, just make sure you have my daughters meds when I get there. I show up, nope they didn't have it ready, and to make things worse, the person who's prescription I picked up, was taking my daughters meds:eek:    They called her up and asked her if there was any difference in the shape or color of the pills she picked up last week. She didn't know, she was in bed sick, and would have to call them back:eek:   They gave me my daughters meds, and said sorry for the mixup, we will check on who mixed them up. I'm so worried about this lady who is sick in bed taking the wrong meds!!!!! Scary!!!!!! |

Well the meds our daughter is on you have to walk in the prescription every month they don't do refills on it. It's to keep her in the real world after all her abuse. So I'm sure this lady should no way be taking it. I bet I'll be getting a phone call from her family at some point. They asked me last night if I gave any of the other meds to my daughter, I said no way, I know what she takes, and if it was different, I would know about it from her Doctor before I gave it to her. All she said was Oh Thank God! Scary!!!! |
Hi guys...just stopping by for a second to say Hello! My computer is a little better than Friday, but still slow enough to be aggravating! You know I think I've got to quit adding to my prayers "Dear God...please don't let me spend the whole day on YT...I need to get some work done" I think he is starting to take me serious on that!! Hope everyone had a great weekend and Mother's Day. I did. My son's video project got a good laugh on Friday at school...I was just glad it didn't get him arrested!! Teri...sorry to hear about Kevin's problems at school. Kids can be so cruel...hopefully going to the school and the other parents will help! We'll be thinking about you! Gina...I can't believe that about the prescriptions...that is really scary! Marie...Hope you are feeling better! Courtney...I'm glad you had a good weekend...hope your treatment goes well today. |

Last night about 10, I crack my back sliding door, so the cat can come in when you know who is waiting to pounce on him.. so a few minute later I notice the cat is in eating on the dryer, and Bailey is outside, so I go over and shut the door,to keep him out there to do his business, before bedtime. I go in the other room, and hear " BOOM" it was so loud and so hard, I first thought a car hit something outside, then it registers... I know what that was, Bailey running full blast into the sliding door! I go out hes all scared and running around the yard ( in the rain) will not come to me, or even back onto the porch,, all I wanna do is pick him up and cuddle him,, but he's scared. So I open the door, and about 10 mins later he comes in still scared and pacing around.. poor little guy, he kept sneezing, you know, when ya hit your nose..Poor thing. I went and got in bed,and he came up, and I cuddled him, I felt bad, but it was kinda funny, reminded me of that Windex commercial, where those birds slam into that window.:( |
