I decided to come on at home on my superfast dial up. I almost had a heart attack. I could not log on to YT. It kept telling me to register. Finally got on, boy that was a close one.

Had a heart attack last week myself. Computer says...sorry, no internet. WTH...no internet?!?!? We're supposed to ALWAYS have internet service....yeah, ya do if that modem thingy is plugged in. Of course it took network administration awhile before they checked for THAT problem

We have customers that call and say...send someone...this machine doesn't do anything...it's broken. Now it is very very rare that they don't do something....so I ask....plugged in? checked your breakers? Yea, lady all that's fine...send them ASAP. Five minutes later...I get a phone call...ok, we fixed it ourselves. We have billed people for sending someone out to plug in a machine before.

Sounds like here! My boss had to use my office one day and I was home. The next day I come in and there is a note that my docking station is not working. IT couldn't figure out the problem and they will be by to look at it again. I knew immediatly what happened. Someone stepped on the surge protector and turned the whole thing off. The IT guy was SO embarrassed when I showed him the problem. Scary, huh?

While checking to see what my problem with AOL was. I went through internet explorer which never works in my house.

Well someone in my house (most likely husband clicks on anything that pops up) is a dead man. I checked last sites visited.

We have that every Monday around here, after the cleaning lady knocks all the connections out,, takes us awhile everytime to figure it out though.

Today at work we discuss 800 pound nekkid women pictures. I told a kid here...oh, you don't wanna look at those....his response...yeah, I'd look at 'em. Of course you would....they're nekkid....who cares WHAT they look like as long as they have no clothes on.

One time hubby was looking at....hmmmmm, novelty girls...hears dd coming....he says he's trying to close the window, thousand pop ups follow, hitting close, hitting close...busted. She immediately comes in the kitchen and tells me...mom, dad's looking at stuff on the computer that he's not 'spose to. So I said...that's it....if he doesn't know what's appropriate, no internet for him.

We use to have neighbors that were on a....let's be friends (if ya know what I mean...no smut, admin, no smut mentioned here) site. They'd told another neighbor....so one night we looked them up. Woo-boy. Any way on the website was a little mapquest thing....showed ya how many miles you were from the "friend" you were interested in. So I asked...do ya think that means...you can just SHOW up at their house and say...oh I found ya on the net and we were so close thought we'd pop on over...

PS We were zero miles from those "friendly" neighbors..we were across the street.

Yep. They were actually an attractive couple.....most of the others on that site...ya really didn't wanna see nekkied much less touch anything.

Disclaimer....not that we were thinking of doing either...just so ya know.

PS. Hubby was much more interested to see if Bambi (her real name, btw) was outside on our trips by their house after learning this bit of info.
