OK...they waited a little late in the day, but just got my VISA Gift Card...had to go online to see what the value is did that as soon as they walked away from my desk Yeppers...$100...who wants to go out for drinks after work???

Oh yeah...I did tell them that is a Week now not just a day...boss told me I could have the day off tomorrow....Smart A$$...I have to be off because I am getting my IV treatment tomorrow, which takes all day

That is a pretty nice gift. I gave my assistant a lousy old box of candy and took her to lunch.

Immune system in a bottle!! I lost my immune system when I was pregnant with last child so I have to get IVIG treatments to supplement me...fun fun! Really, it isn't bad, just takes all day, I have it done at the Cancer Center here in town, because the Dr is a hematologist/oncologist, so everyone else is getting chemo....so I have nothing at all to complain about!! I just take a bag full of junk food and magazines, and I read, eat and sleep all day....now add in some rain or a thunderstorm, and it is the perfect day!!

Edited to add: also should add a laptop for a perfect day....hmmm that is an idea, maybe I should ask for one for Mother's Day so I can talk on YT on treatment days!! Or we could do one of those Paypal fund raisers that are so successful!!

OMG! Megan just called to tell me that the Barking Dog stuff came! She said that there was a harness vest and "some other thingys". I said "oh, those are belly bands for his pee-ness" ok, say it out loud and you will know why I spit pretzels all over my desk! She gave me one of her infamous "Mother!"'s. then when I couldn't stop laughing she said I have problems. Do you think I can get away with posting this story on a new thread?

Yeah, like those ingrate kids on Sweet Sixteen on MTV, that show blows my mind! They spend more money on their kids than, I'll see in a lifetime. Unreal,and the kids are SO appreciative,,
