Yes, a bunch of people watched the first Derby. I think there was a crowd of 10,000 gathered at the racetrack built by the Louisville Jockey Club, just outside of Louisville, in the track that become eventually known as Churchill Downs.

As you missed today's race, the favorite, California Chrome, won!

if you boil with enough water it won't stick. But if you put oil in the water the sauce won't stick either . . . This is my Italian half talking

Did you know you should reheat leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove, on med-low and heat till warm? This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza.
