Aaaah! Thank you both!

Just the 2 of us went to the good old Hare + Hounds with Harry and Luka (they get on brilliantly, thank goodness!)...it was packed! We couldn't even reserve our favourite table next to the fire!

Oh I do love girlie chats!!

Enjoying a pleasant, breezy evening here in North Texas. Tibbe has come alive and is racing about the house, playing with his Flossie Bone. He loves Spring-like and Fall-like weather when there is change in the air. Seems to envigorate him.

Oh, I'm excited! The other series I got to see last year and hadn't ever seen the first UD. Now a third one coming!!! Wonderful news. I so enjoyed last year's mini-series. Of course, I love Downton Abbey, too. Can't wait for third series of it! Did you see that some of the stars of DA were at this past week's State Dinner at the White House?

Yes indeed I did!!

Now, tonights UD (starring Ed Stoppard and Keeley Hawes)...Mr. Pritchard finds romance at the annual servants ball, prompting him to wonder if there is more to life than service. Hallam and Persie continue their risky affair...Now, there's a cliff-hanger for you!!!

Is the Forsyte Saga really really good, too? Is it worth buying?

I'm so glad you're happy!

It's very difficult to recommend stuff, isn't it - we're all so different. And The Forsythe Saga was so many years ago, it's going to look very dated (even though period dramas always do, to a certain extent?!).

It's been many years since I've watched it, but used to love it then. If you do decide to buy it, please make sure you get the original version - go on, treat yourself...!!!

(I think it had Susan Hampshire and Nyree Dawn Porter in?)

Yes, my mum's seen the newer version and said it wasn't worth watching...she maintains stick to the old version with Susan and Nyree!!
