Weathercasters are not predicting snow in Dallas today - rather temp at 110 and tonight, cooling down to 106 for the first part of the evening then temp dropping like a stone to - (drumroll) a cool and breezy 81 overnight! Tomorrow, about the same thing. I live a few miles outside Dallas and we are usually 5 - 10 degrees cooler than the predicted high or low and so hopefully we stay true to that today!!!

Seriously, Mother Nature???

I think Texas is trying to cook me to a crisp. I just came back from a walk to the mail, it's 100 here. Now I'm checking my mail, YT, doing laundry, eating lunch and getting ready to watch my Netflix movie I just got

Molli and Chibi are passed out at my feet from the walk to the mail- good thing I just gave them both a summer hair cut!

Ha! We in Texas are definitely going to be "well done" by the time autumn rolls around. Do you think it will come this year? Just checked and according to Channel 11 website, my zipcode is showing 104 degreees as of 1:45 p.m.!!! The big tree in my front yard has started dropping leaves it was so dry I guess. Got out there and watered it all day yesterday and overnight so hopefully it can get some nutrients up to the leaves now and won't look so woebegone.

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL FALL AND FOOTBALL AND COOL AUTUMN WEATHER!!!

Am also following the Warren Jeffs trial on TV and Twitter and see he is about to be allowed to put on his defense. Should be interesting.

Just had an unusual breakfast, paid my ridiculously high electric bill online and going to chill(and I use that term very loosely) for the rest of the morning. Bought Tibbe some new Jerky Treats and he almost took my fingers off getting each bit!
