| Just made a huge pot of macaroni and cheese. House smells just like when I was a kid when mother would make macaroni and cheese. That smell of macaroni boiling is one I always associate with my and even my son's growing up. Think Mac and Cheese and you think kid. Well, I made myself some! If that stuff weren't so fattening, I could live on it. Mac and Cheese and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert is my idea of the perfect dinner. Who needs veggies and fruit!!!

| Watching TV - Conrad Murray trial verdict reached on Michael Jackson death. Tibbe watching out the den window. It is garbage pickup day and he spends much of his day barking out that window on those days. It is so good to have him back from his very short stay in the vet hospital and have all his sounds about the house - even if it is EARSHATTERING NONSTOP barking and faunching and raving at the temerity of the garbage men that actually come and take our garbage! I think he thinks they should not just take stuff from us and he gets his tiny nose so out of joint when they come. It animates his whole day. Mondays and Thursdays are very LOUD around here.
