I confess that it's Friday!!!! And going to be a Gizmo, Gizmo's God mother (my best friend), and me night tonight! Think we're going to go shopping at the our outdoor/dog friendly mall!

I confess that you are partially right, Betty. The term originated as a way to imply someone was fibbing or embellishing a story. Something that would be told over a pint or 4 at the local Cock and Bull pub
