No, I'm utterly humiliated now that it's been exposed publicly and the blank spaces I can't see with my macular defects where the spaces and words are squeezed together and missing parts of them are too hard to overcome, especially when I'm "it" and trying hard to be sure I don't miss anything. It's almost impossible to explain this disability to anyone by my eye doctors and those like me but to those who haven't any similar visual problems, you could never understand. I have to re-read things so many times but am so tense when trying to play I just miss parts of the blank spaces all too often. It's been a problem ever since the macular tears and the many surgeries afterward and it's so hard to explain how your brain helps you with some of the missing parts of whole words where letters are in regular posts but if there are too many blanks as there are in Hangman, the brain just counts that as not there and won't try to fill in or even remind me to spell out the word to see if I missed some letters when filling in guessed letters. I just panic because I can't see it all and hurry and submit it, thinking I've gotten it all, even when I've read and re-read and re-read it. It's an eye-to-brain dysfunction that develops when you don't see a full visual field or just chunks of a visual field and so hard to explain. It's almost that bad with numbers but blanks are just the worst and sometimes I see way too many and other times, miss a bunch of them. For some reason with whole words, my brain fills in most of the missing parts though I may skip a whole sentence or two and not know it so I'm able to pass fairly easily in regular posts, though I have embarrassingly missed parts of posts and upset poster by my awkward response.

I shouldn't have ever been "it" and tried to make words to guess and you've found me out now so I think it's best to bow out as I'm not a reliable presenter of a puzzle. I'd still love to guess from time to time but honestly think you and others like you will be less frustrated and feel less short-changed if I just don't play anymore. I'm so sorry, visual. You were the best and fun to play with - sorry I wasn't! Guess I'm just having a bad day on top of everything else.

I would like to make it easier for you. Perhaps by making the spaces in a larger font, or using a different symbol, or maybe further apart like this
