This is all getting silly....if you win then surely that means you have won completely ....so how can you win again unless it is in a different competitive game or situation.

As far as my logic will stretch...if I am in a race and I win that race then the race is over and finished and done with you can only win it once.

I have explained this so many times on here.

Now if you posted "I am winning" then yes I can agree with that you can be winning as often as you like but you can only WIN ONCE in any game race or event. (unless you are American)

Anyway, my heart is still broken after what you did to it....shame on you....lol

LOL, sorry to break your heart ... however, in this game, it is possible to win, then lose, then win again, and so on ... since the "winner" is always changing, and the game never ends. So, it was my turn to win, then I lost, but now I win again .... for the time being anyway.

OK I am going to put this down to the American language.

As far as the English language is concerned the statement "I WIN" is a final statement of fact.

I means what it say I WIN.

Now we have a problem as when another person posts the statement "I win" is no longer a true statement so how could it be a final statement in the first place.

Therefore the statement "I am winning" is not only a more accurate statement but it is also good use of the English language showing the person posting does at least understand what is being said.

Never mind, American English is here to stay.....

Hmmmmmm....it seems to me that you admit your statement is wrong as you do say "for the time being" thus proving you do not WIN but you are WINNING ....
