OK I am going to put this down to the American language.

As far as the English language is concerned the statement "I WIN" is a final statement of fact.

I means what it say I WIN.

Now we have a problem as when another person posts the statement "I win" is no longer a true statement so how could it be a final statement in the first place.

Therefore the statement "I am winning" is not only a more accurate statement but it is also good use of the English language showing the person posting does at least understand what is being said.

Never mind, American English is here to stay.....
