Y'all should bring your bikes and take a weekend trip down to Kerrville Area and ride.

Weather is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer down there. Huge plus if you are doing Texas. Be sure to do the Kerrville to Bandera drive on 16 and go over to Vanderpool to see the Motorcycle museum. There's a loop that goes through Vanderpool called "Three Sisters" that is a popular ride, but we rarely do the whole loop. We cut back towards Kerrville. Fredericksburg is also nice if your wife likes to shop. Good eats and music at a Restaurant on the main drag. You'll know it when you see it because tons of people sitting outside to eat. Get the shank. It's to die for. Naval Museum there if you're into that kind of thing.
