What: A six-acre dog park that could open anytime from Memorial Day weekend to mid-June inside the county park at 899 East U Ave.
Amenities: Three acres of open fields and three acres of wooded trails. Possibility to expand in the future so dogs can swim in Hogsett Lake.
Hours: 7 a.m. to sunset, seven days a week.
Cost: Dog park is free with county park admission, which is $5 per car for one day or $25 for an annual pass ($20 for people who are 62 and older). Park Commission is expected to decide May 6 whether dog park users are required to have the annual pass.
