In italian, Christmas Eve is "La Vigilia," the eve. Traditionally the dinner meatless and fish dishes are dominate. The Feast of the Seven Fishes...

I have selected 4 of my favorite items on the menu, my dad (italian) does Christmas Eve for us and we love it. One of my favorite parts of the holidays... The food, the people, family, friends, laughter.. and best of all the mmmm's and aaaa' of full bellys!

Be Specific... (what kind of seafood). Good luck! Doesn't it make you hungry?? YUMMY!

2. Squid rings (Calamari)
3. ?? - looks like stuffed mushrooms
4. Stuffed Quahogs

We do the Feast of 7 fishes too (Yes, I'm Italian) but our menu is a little bit different. I guess every "family" has their own twist on things.
