Puff got her bandage/splint off her tail today. Went to Bojanges for lunch with hubby and going to Shoney's for supper with dtr later tonight. I am a fast food fanatic. We hate to cook. Just don't take the time really. |

Ok - the guilt got to me...I love to read this thread - it makes me feel good. Speaking for myself, maybe people don't post because of a lack of self confidence? But the people that do post REALLY help boost everyone - thank you! It's kinda like the posts where people are asking for prayer. I pray. Alot. But I seldom post anything. I know the posts meant alot to me when I asked for prayers for Roxy, so I am working on that!! And for me - my Roxy is feeling better after her surgery - each day is better than the last. My son and daughter made it home safely after a family reunion in Colorado. I am at work (no Roxy :cry:), but I really love the people I work with! |

gus ran away last monday.. he was gone for 6 nights and found on sunday morning he was matted and stinky and tired and scared but my poor little baby is back home safe and sound. i am so happy.. nothing can bother me now.. my heart is filled with gratitude:) |

My day was fantastic. I did nothing. :) I woke up around 8:30 and just laid around and then my mom and I took my brother to work, and we went out for a while, then we came home and did nothing. It's been fun. :D |
Things are going SO great for our business. Last week we sold 6 boats and today we sold another- and three others who are "interested" we are actually running out of boats. We are crazy busy but this is supposed to be down time for us so we are just so happy they are still selling. |
ethan is the next cesar my grandson lives with us .. and i see him daily.. i am ya ya.. he is starting to talk and learning to walk and run.. and he loves me so much.. he is the cutest creature on the planet.. i want to eat him up.. i am so blessed to live with him..i have the best of both worlds..i only watch him when i want to...a lot....he is in training for pack leader for sure.. he is 17 months old and ethan loves the movie MEET THE ROBINSONS and MARY POPPINS,, babies and puppies are the best:) |
I took Emmitt back to the vet yesterday for a re-check on his eye and it was over 50% better. We expect his eye to heal fully without any scarring. AND they didn't charge me for the re-check! I LOVE MY VET!! |

Usually I'm only able to read here and there at work so it's been fun! I found out today that my unemployment benefits claim has been approved after the former employer tried to dispute the claim. It's been 6 long weeks of worry and it feels so GOOD!:jump28ib: |
It was a nice day today. We had a small B-day party for my son and me my Husband and my kids and their kids all just sit after the party and talked and enjoyed our time together!!! |
My acting teacher had a housewarming party tonight, and all of my theatre friends were there, including the seniors who just graduated. I haven't seen them all summer and it was beyond amazing. I've missed them sooo much! and I learned that I have some amaaaazing friends that I love like mad. |

Today has been the most beautiful day!!! There were beautiful clouds all day and a nice balmy breese almost like Hawaii.(very unusual for AZ) Tomarrow is my best friends birthday so we went out shopping and I took her to dinner. This evening was just as great: gorgeous sunset in the west and lots of beautiful lightning in the east. |

God has given me more blessings than I can start to count or post! I have totally amazing kids! I got to watch my daughter dance for the Boise State Game this weekend, and she did a beautiful job!!! Boise State won their opening football game! Roxy is a great little travel companion - no more long lonely car trips! It is 6:10 am - less than an hour before I get off work! Labor day weekend - and so far no fatal crashes in my dispatch area! It's a holiday - holiday pay!!! |
We had a wonderful day yesterday. Went to Kipona (Labor day river festival), the Artfest (saw lots of great art) out to lunch (where we sat in a/c by the water), took Ginger and Bernie swimming, and...caught up with what's going on here at YT! Looking forward to today and having the day off! |
I had my first day of my last semester today! Our theory teacher is great and very positive! The whole day she talked about becoming a nurse and how it is a constant learning experience. I am very excited about this semester, because it is the last semester and I will finally have my degree. (I'm still thinking about becoming a vet! I know I will continue my education, just need to figure out what direction) |

All, I just love reading your positive posts. I've been having a really rough time these last couple of weeks and feeliing pretty downs, so it's great to come onto this thread and get a huge smile on my face. :) My positive: I LOVE SCHOOL!!!!! a lot. It's fantabulous. I could litteraly sit in my History class all day, and my English class. and at my Performing Arts HS (half day thing), we talked about the shows we're going to see this year regionally and what not. For our Broadway show, we're going to see August:Osage County. I've been DYING to see it! and as if that's not fantabulous enough, one of my friends (there's about 15 kids in my class) Fiona..her father is a stage hand or something. and he'll *probably* be able to get us backstage and maybe even an interview with the cast. 1) I've been wanting to see A:OC for quite some time. 2) I'd LOVE to do a Q&A with the cast. 3) It's only my DREAM to go backstage at a Broadway show. I almost died. I'd probably cry when we go back, but if I don't act professionally, my teacher will take me outside and beat me lol :p. So I'm thrilled. I can't wait for Monday haha...I love school! |
Today I finished my first week of school! Everything is going great. I was nervous about leaving Suri home while I went to school, but she did great! When I got home Suri was so excited to see me. We played and I brushed her out. She also had her first trim with the clippers and did wonderful! (Shaved her bum and ear hair, I also clipped her nails) What an exciting day! |
Monday is over! We had a very important medication test, pass or fail. I am pretty confident I passed it :) We will be getting the results this week in clinical. (This will allow us to distribute medication at the hospital! :) ) |
I love this thread! My parents have been gone more or less since Thursday- Ohio and back... Ohio and back... Ohio and back.. lol... so as much as i HATE working (when they are gone i get the days off!) it's really nice to have them back... Layla always seems off when her whole family isn't here.. so she is going to be so happy to have them back! I also am pretty positive (90%) that I get to lead a trip back to the Dominica Republic next April with this year's students at the teacher's college I was at last year. I can't wait. I think daily about going back and now i get to! |
