And I double ban QS for going off-topic on the banning thread. However, I don't get it. Men have always gotten more points than women. In fact, I think it was more than 6.

I ban Mike to express confusion. Didn't men get the same # of points as women on the basic points system introduced about ten years ago? Are you sure you weren't a lactating mother at the time?

I'm liking the new system. It's sort of zone-y. I am eating way more meat/fish than I used to. I think it works for my body. Also, the online journal is fantastic.

It's kind of a weird switch, because beans, which are very good for you, used to be 3.5 points per can, despite the fact that that's almost 400 calories (as opposed to a tablespoon of butter, which was 3 points and 100 calories).

Now, a can of beans is 10 points. I feel like beans got a free ride before, and now they are being overly penalized.

I ban QS for luring me into going off-topic on the banning thread. Men got at least a couple more points than women. That was the case when I tried going to a few meetings 6 months ago. Six may be more. That's sounding pretty sweet, three small apples or two bananas!
