I have heard a lot of people say Benjamin Moore is the best paint out there. Those colors sound good...what color blue do you have..do you know? Thanks....our house is cozy...it is 2 1/2 stories (back is a full three stories) - we built it on a hillside, so it is weird...anyway, it is country on the outside (cedar w/ green tin)...and well, we are out in the country. So, I am trying to decorate "country", but not too country...ha, if that makes sense!

| I had a thought for your daughters room. lol...if she's doing the Paris pink and black how about a silvery paint with a soft metallic look to it...I know I saw these at a home improvement store....If your daughter wants to add some wrought iron here's some rub on transfers, you can find them on E-Bay also under "Tatouage"....There's also an animal page with chickens on it.... http://www.sjhomeinteriors.com/fence...work___arbors_ http://cgi.ebay.com/French-Paris-Eif...QQcmdZViewItem If you want to dress up the kitchen a bit here's something to think about...These Wallies are also nice to dress up a room like your kitchen... http://www.wallies.com/item/W13442.h...=murals&page=4 http://www.wallies.com/item/W13460.h...=murals&page=2

| i also just finished repainting my whole house.. since we built it last Nov. I was getting a littile tired of the white .. so we went to Home Depot and bought a color by the name of :Contemplation by Behr... LOVE IT... it has some blue to it.. sort of resembles Tiffany Box Blue... and since I have dark mahogany cabinets and furniture it goes well...I will try to post a pic after lunch... | I will look into that color...THANKS! I have heard a lot of people say Benjamin Moore is the best paint out there. Those colors sound good...what color blue do you have..do you know? I have not painted with blue but the wallpaper in the bathroom is shades of colonial blue and blue gray in leave forms. The counter top is blue/gray also. Backgroud on the paper is a shaded ivory and the tile on the floor is a shaded ivory as well. Same colors in the bedspred. Blue's are so hard to match. If you look at the "Historical colors" in Benjamin Moore paint you will see lot's of colonial blues and blue gray's which of course will match with your country home. Buy a couple of sample bottles and put on the wall. Maybe one will catch your eye. Good luck, it's so fun to decorate. Post pictures when your done. |
