thats the hard part i'm running into. The bf realy wants me to get one while i'm there, BUT it take 4 dance lessons a week and my shoes are closed in type shoes. If i'm not dancng I have on flip flops.

At 20 I had staples put in my skull w/ minimal pain meds so I *think* i can handle the pain

Yeah you can handle it...that's what I kept telling myself..."I had a 9 pound baby with NO pain meds, I can handle this"...:eek: Thing is, the lady bug took about 30 minutes...it was bad, but I would probably do it again. :D I am SO addicted to Tattoos!!! I want to get one of Oscar or at least his pawprint!

I'm thinking I'm just going to get Poppy Sues pawprint and then add the wings/ words later on! I have a pawprint of hers I got in plaster before she passed, so it will be her actual pp. Some folks on another board told me it was trite, but I like the fact it is her actual shaped pawprint.

I'll be honest with you.. The tat on my shoulder blade didn't hurt me a bit.. Now my cows when they went up my leg w/ the needle it hurt on my big one that was the only time.. My smaller cow.. OMGFG that one i couldnt grip the pillow tight enough.. It was weird.. But I love em and I cant wait for my next 3.. 2 on my wrist and the extra cow.. Plus I have another coming for the top of my foot soon as i settle on a graphic..

One thing you also have to remember if your artist has a heavy hand it will tend to hurt more.. Meaning they dig the needles in farther.. That was the difference between the guy that did my cows and the guy that did my fairy..HUGE....

See...the guy that did my foot said the guy that did my shoulder had a heavier hand...who knows...another friend said maybe I was allergic to red ink??? Maybe that is why it is not doing so well...oh and I was wrong on the age of the tat on my foot...I got it Saturday so it is only 3 days old! :eek:

i have morgan's actual paw print on my wrist and i love it so much more then just a regular perfectly shaped paw print. i put ink on her foot and put it on paper a few times. we took those imprints to get a design of her foot. i think its awesome. means more to me. so i think its nice that you are putting poppy sues actual paw print on you.

I've wanted to get Daisy and Jersey's actual paw done for a while now but the problem I'm running into is where to do it.....I was thinking on the back of my neck, but i'm just not sure. can you take a picture...i would love to see what it looks like on your wrist.

When my daughter was 18 yr. she wanted a tatoo to celebrate the change in her life. She got an unusual shadow cross. Later while working as a counselor at a non-denominational church camp she got a Hebrew saying on each foot by the ankle---Footprints & Walking with God. Interesting since we are quite old and traditional. I love the idea of paw prints, though. I feel a mid-life crisis coming on.:D

i have one on my arm i cannot stand i want it removed a purple barbwire wrap thing i think its just ugly now .
i do like tattoos in general though

Here is my three week old lion that covered my 27 year old elephant! Pic of the lion is not that good...hubby did not get rid of all the shine and I did not have any lotion on it this morning. The lion took 2 hours.

I would get it covered with a prettier armband...where are you located in Alabama? I know a REALLY good tattoo artist! :D :p

When I got mine, I did it and then showed it to him. But then I am 60 years old and decided I didn't need his permission for anything!!:D

That is ADORABLE!! I was just talking to my dad (Morgan's #1 fan)and he asked me why I didn't do something like that instead of the "stupid" ones I have :eek: :eek:

First, morgan says "Hi #1 fan!!!! glad you like my mommy's tattoo."

Your tats are not stupid. i think they are cool. would love to see pictures of the Indian one on your stomach.

I love my paw print tat. I got it a week after i got morgan so she was like 14 weeks old. her foot is still the same size. LOL

I have one of my Brodie :) I took a picture in of him and they drew it up. He is forever with me :) I'd like to get more and of course they'd all be dog related!!!

Well I have a not so happy report on my tat I got on my foot a couple of weeks ago...I think I am having what is called Red Ink Rejection and I think I will lose my tattoo. To me it looks like a keloid is forming over it around where the top has ruptured. I am going to the Dr. on Monday because I am feeling some soreness in my lymphnodes and my foot is red off and on and puffy most of the time. I just hate this...I was so tickled with the way it turned out. The pretty pic is the day after I got the tattoo and the messed up one is now. :(

I dont have any, and dont know a lot about them... Why does that happen??

I thought about just going ahead and getting one, but the only person I would trust to do the tattoo is one of is best friends who is a tattoo artist. His friend will not tattoo me unless my hubby new and is there.
