i have my bellybutton and nose pierced, and recently got a tattoo on my lower back. its a cross with a rose wrapped around it - not as poainful as i thought it would be but probably the only one ill get, i dont think id like ne thing else enough to put it on me forever lol |
I love tattoos. I grew up around people that were tattooed since my dad was a biker. Him and 2 of my brothers have a bunch of tattoos. The reason that I keep getting them is because its an expression of me. |
I don't have any done, but my brother is a walking canvas! His arm is sleeved, he has them on his biceps, shoulders, a big eagle across his shoulders, a zipper going down his spine (which is very cool), his legs, calves, feet.... I wouldn't be surprised if there were more I didn't know about. I don't think I will get any, but I have thought about getting my nose done with a really small gauge stud. I'm going into a rather conservative profession, though, so I don't know how it will be taken. |
4 Attachment(s) I have two Tattoo's.. One which I got secretly when I was 17 years old. It is a fairy on the small of my back (lower back)... and on my 18th birthday I got stars on my tummy. I've had my share of piercings.. In the picture with the stars on my tummy.. My belly button has a small scar.. Only because I had it Pierced 3 times lol.. The first time I just didn't take care of it, the 2nd i think it ripped off when I went hiking at a school retreat in highschool.. and the third.. I just took off cause It was during my heavier days lol.. I've also had my nose pierced twice, once which also got infected lol (i was allergic to the jewelry).. and the 2nd time I had to take off because I went into Nursing School. I've also had my Lower Lip Pierced.. I actually MISS that sooo bad lol.. i was debating if i should do it again, but then like wear a clear plastic thingie while at work. I have 4 Earring holes but i rarely wear anymore earrings. Three are on the left and one on the right, i'm debating if i should get my right ear pierced, because i don't really wear earrings lol. Fran--that tribal flower on your wrist is beautiful!! Do any of you have problems at work with your tattoos? I'm just curious as I have been having some issues this summer. |

Well...If I want to stay a member here I can't post mine :D - let's just say that 4 Long Island Ice Teas & a CUTE tat artist got me needle happy when I was about 17 years old... I have an Eagle (Freedom) a small Seagull (Beach) a purple Rose. (Drunk) Almost had alot more but talked myself out of them - but still plan to get one more before on my lower back.... I LOVED that Finger Rose - Awesome ! |

2 of my very favorite topics,,,,,, yorkies and tatoos!!! I have 3 tattoos and an add on. My first one was supposed to be 3 butterflys surrounding a rose on my left back shoulder. But couldn't take the pain so only got one butterfly with the rose. After healing,,, I loved it so I went back and got my lower back done. 3 roses on a vine,,,, talk about pain!!! Then felt ok lets see how much I can take,,,,,, so i went and got my right lower ankel done. I was ok till they started to go over the Achilles tendon. It made my toes curl!!! After a while it just went numb. Then I figured compare to the last 2,,, it will be a breeze to add the other 2 butterflys. And I was correct. Didn't mind it one bit. I can't for the life of my find pictures of my back shoulder and ankel but here is the only one I can find of my lower back. Wish it wasnt so blurry |

Well I don't have any tattoos or extra piercings, im to of a chicken. I just hate pain. My oldest sister has two tattoos: a heart on her lower back, and I think a sun on her ankle. My youngest sister has her tongue and eyebrow pierces. Your tattos are awesome. I guess you all are braver than me. Only time I had a tattoo was a temporary one that you removed with alcohol, :rolleyes: . :) |
Oops i started a thread not realizing one had already been started. No pictures, but here's my list. -I have two tatoos, 7 earings, and 1 belly button piercing. -Tatoo on right shoulder of a small, colorful, butterfly -tatoo on lower back of a heart with tribal around it (this on did not hurt at all) Would like to get tatoo of a flower on my big toe. |
I have my belly button peirced and I'm waiting on my tatoo because I'm scared to death to get one.. I also can't decide on what to get.. When I get it I want it to mean something and i dont want it to be something I would regret later on.. |
I've always wanted a tattoo but my husband just is so against them for no good reason. I'd get one regardless of his opinion but I could never decide on something that I would still like in 20 years and not just be, what the heck was I thinking. :p |

I have 1 tattoo: a small rose on my right shoulder. I have 2 ear holes on the bottom of each ear, and 1 hole on the top (cartlidge area) of my right ear. I want to get my belly button pierced but I'm scared! I'll eventually get it done but for now I'm too chicken! |
My belly button piercing hurt worse than both of my tatoos. |
My belly ring didn't hurt at all.. Just a little pinch when he stuck the needle through. He clamped it first and it was so tight it almost numbed me to where I could not feel anything. |

They pinch the skin tight with pliers, then insurt a needle and then thread the ring through. There was a lot of blood. They recommend washing it 3 times a day with antibacterial soap. Wash the ring really good with soap that move it back and forth through the hole. After about 2 weeks it will start to use white stuff. These are white blood cells healing the wound. If it's yellow worry. Mine got slightly infected, but i didn't take it out i just kept washing it and used a little peroxide. The infection cleared up pretty quickly. If you take it out before 6 months the chances of getting it back in are pretty slim. I had my done twice. The first time healed up quickly and just left a little scar, but i scar bad so that might just have been me. I refused to take mine out when it got infected because of how much it cost. $60. |
Well when I got mine done she had me lay on a table...She marked my belly with a marker so she got the hole straight...Then she took thongs and got this hook (almost looked like a fish hook but thicker) and she said ok take a deep breath and BAM she hooked my bellyyyy and it was done...No pain, I had very very little blood...I went back to the same woman and she pierced my "2 girlies" almost a year ago...Now that HURT! If you want to get piercings done in NYC, I HIGHLY suggest Cassiopia on St. Mark;s place in the village...They were SUPER SUPER SUPER clean... I am actually thinking about another tattoo this weekend...I want to get something for Sammi, so I am trying to find maybe an outline of a yorkie...I dunno yet!! |
