| Let's Say THANKS to our TRROPS! I have a feeling that a majority of this board knows someone in the military or that is stationed overseas. The holidays are right around the corner and there are roughly 375,000 American soldiers stationed somewhere overseas. A radio station in the Atlanta area is trying to get a letter into each of their hands for Thanksgiving. This is where YOU come in! They need your help! 375,000 is a LOTTT of letters. BUT it can be done! Please please go to THIS WEBSITE for the information on this amazing project. Get your firends and family involved!! Here's a breakdown of the major points: -One page front and back..make it original! Don't copy one generic letter 50 times! -Do not use glue, tape, staples, cardboard, glitter or otherwise attach anything to the paper. Decorate using crayons, pencil, etc. Use both side if you like, but use one page per letter only. -NO political statements, PLEASE -Now, I know YTer's have HUGE HUGE hearts, but they are asking that you DO NOT add anything to your letter (phone cards, gum, etc). JUST THE LETTER PLEASE! We may not all agree on why they are overseas, but one thing is for sure. THEY DESERVE THIS! They haven't announced where to mail everything to, so if you are interedted..PM ME and I will send you my address. I will collect all letters and send them to the radio station when they announce the address to mail it to. Now..you have ONE WHOLE WEEK to send them to me. BUT I need them by next Friday October 19! I have to send them in by October 26th. It will only take a few minutes out of your day to sit down and write a letter but it will MEAN SO MUCH to OUR trops!! I know YT will pull together for this! You guys are GREAT with things like this! Please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any questions! Thanks everyone and GET TO WRITING!

| Your a VERY brave person to be giving your address out to so many people you don't even know. I hope you have thought long and hard about this. We have already seen a few very questionable people on here and I'm sure many more are just lurking. I have a son overseas, and yes the Holidays will be hard on him as well, but they do have each other over there as well. |

| this is a wonderful idea. My son is somewhere out in the Mediterranean, not sure where. He can't tell me for security reasons. We email back and forth. They soooo look forward to hearing from home. The packages and letters they receive are the highlight of their day. My son says it's like Christmas when they get something from home. I am very proud of all the men and women who put their lives on the line every day for us. God Bless Them All!! |

GUYS- To clear up any confusion-- that address is the one straight from the radio station's website. You can mail your letters straight there. They must be RECEIVED by October 26 so keep that in mind! If you think that ONE letter wont help..IT WILL! This is an amazing project, but it wont happen without everyone writing their letters!! Thanks again!
