| Landscaping ideas anyone? We moved into our house in May and the landscaping was already done...I need some ideas for this empty space right in the front (see pics below). Right now I have a mum and 2 sad little pumpkins. Any ideas for longer term stuff to put there? Do you think a water feature, or maybe some Azaela bushes, or maybe a planter of somekind where I can plant seasonal plants??

| Maybe some type of low-growing bush? I'm sure if you go to a garden store that they could help you with something. I think it's best when nothing is covering your windows so no one can hide behind them.. call me paranoid. |

| I wished I had some better pictures of my "Knock out" Rose bushes. They are "to die for" and they stay green all year. They have been blooming since the Spring. I have them all around my pool. The picture I am attaching is not that good but at least you can kinda see them. I love them!!! They would add so much color to the front of your house. Make sure you post a picture of what you decide to do. Your house is very pretty!!!! Sorry I tried.....the picture will not upload.

| Oooh, yes I do like Roses! Great idea...also, never thought of having too many bushes for bad guys to hide in...I don't think that's paranoid at all...just being careful.

| I love to have different bushes together so that I have different colors and textures to keep it interesting. Also, if you have different things, you can keep something blooming most all the time. Be sure to go to a local nursery - they will be able to help you choose plants that will do well in your area. Sometimes the big box nurseries get plants from other areas of the country and they don't do well in your area. Good luck! Your house is gorgeous!
