I love to have different bushes together so that I have different colors and textures to keep it interesting. Also, if you have different things, you can keep something blooming most all the time. Be sure to go to a local nursery - they will be able to help you choose plants that will do well in your area. Sometimes the big box nurseries get plants from other areas of the country and they don't do well in your area.
