| Originally I had 27 because I thought the 9 students who were taking both was already including in the numbers of students taking french and students taking German, but that wasn't an answer option. So I guess I will go with 18 as well.

I'll take technically we're right because I think they should have asked for a whole number or round it out to the full month. I'm pretty slow today so I may not see it. lol

| I see the multiple choice here now, but I don't know and I don't know why. 18 and 27 don't work so I better think ???

| Janie616, MistyinCA, and Crystal's momyou are all correct ... (C) 36 is the correct answer Explanation: the way to solve this is to realize that you can subtract the number of students taking both languages (9) from the numbers taking French to find the number taking only French. Likewise find those taking only German. Then we have: Total = only French + only German + both + neither 90 = (41-9 32) + (22-9 13) + 9 + neither. 90= 32+13+9+X 90= 54+X 90-54=X 36=X Students Not enrolled = 36
