BANNED! | Can anyone in Northern california help me? As many of you know my best friend was in a bad car accident recently. she is still in the hospital and will have along recovery ahead of her. Here's the link: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96091 Ok so my question is?? Is there anyone in the S.F. area who happens to have a wheel chair or a bed-side commode they aren't using anymore??? Her insurance won't cover these things and I'm doing my best to help out financially, but it would be so helpful if there is anyone who has them available at a small price or free even!! Please PM me if you can help...Thx |

| I hope you can find what your looking for. I'll say a prayer for you. Is there somewhere you can rent one that's not real expensive?

| you should call the St. Vincent de Paul Society there, or the Salvation Army. Alot of times, they have these things that they will "loan" out to those who need them.... I wish I could do more. Good Luck d

| http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=wheelchair You can also put an ad in the craigslist wanted section. Get the phone book out and look for thrift stores near you. I'm sure they would be happy to look for you so you don't have to drive to each one. The Pennysaver comes out tomorrow, don't for get to look there too. Best of luck to you. Your friend is in our Thoughts and Prayers.

| Damn - wish I lived in sunny California not sunny S.A. - I have a wheelchair that you could borrow. Sorry It was my Mom's, and we're always lending it to friends or family that need it. Hope you find one soon.

| Wow!! She had god with her behind the wheel of that car! She is so lucky. I missed your other post. I hope she is feeling somewhat better. Shouldn't her car Insurance cover the expense of the wheelchair? On a side note.....what make and year of car was she driving? It is amazing that some cars, crash test really good.. The car take the brunt of the damage leaving the passenger with minimal injuries. It looks like her car DID the job it was suppose to do! God Bless you and her. Linda
